*What happens at the end of a trilogy?*
Having written, and thoroughly enjoyed doing so, a romantic/suspense trilogy, I am mourning for my characters. They became so real to me during the five years we spent together, that I miss them terribly. Now is this me going bananas, or do other novelists feel the same? If so, did you find a way to deal with it? I'm almost tempted to revive the characters and use them in something new, but is that cheating? I'd love to hear from fellow series writers.
